Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Analyst to perform laboratory testing, analyze samples, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses according to established procedures and protocols.
- Prepare, label, and process samples for testing.
- Record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Document test results and prepare technical reports.
- Investigate abnormal results and report findings to supervisors.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, including chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Support research, product development, or production teams as required.
- Assist with laboratory audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and analytical instruments.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and laboratory safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP, or similar laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or other laboratory quality standards.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, environmental, food, chemical, or manufacturing laboratories.
